A provider of consumer-facing health and wellness software for over 20 years, MediResource's products are designed to help employees identify health risks and deliver data-rich actionable insights that change employees’ lives and help lower health care costs.
Existing MediResource site was outdated, not accessible, and needed to capture the company's new branding strategy regarding audience and product positioning.
Worked closely with design team in redrafting the entire site. Created all new copy to position the company's history and expertise upfront, along with new product positioning with a focus on employer personas. Ensured all elements were accessible according to WCAG 2.0 and ADA standards.

As part of new branding strategy in support of a product update, company wanted to revive social media presence which had been dormant since 2017.
Created all new social strategy and calendars encompassing Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, but with a focus on engaging new and existing followers on LinkedIn. Gradually increased posting cadence using a variety of topics including product advertising, links to relevant industry articles, helpful health tips, and follower engaging polls and prompts.
Successfully achieved the highest rate of engagement and new followers for the company to date.
Feature: Points for Charity
Company's Health Connected platform awarded users points for engaging in challenges on improving their health, but for a long time the points served no other purpose. They could not be spent or used after being earned. Company signed on a third-party provider to offer services whereby users could trade their points for gift cards.
I reviewed the third-party provider's offerings and pitched an alternate service related to charity donations. By using this other service, the feature could instead allowed users to donate points in exchange for donations to a charity of their choosing. The feature was built around this capacity as a turnkey fundraising tool, allowing employers to activate CSR budgets while working to increase user engagement with the platform.
Feature: Dance Challenge
Company's Health Connected platform includes many 28-day challenges to improve well-being- walking, jogging, eating healthier, and getting better sleep, among others. A new challenge was needed encouraging users to find more ways to incorporate dance into their daily routines thanks to its many health benefits.
I took the lead on creating all naming, tone, and positioning of the challenge's various requirements. Created all new UI/UX copy and a 3x weekly reminder email sequence providing users with useful historical, cultural, and health-related aspects of dance to drive engagement with the platform. Ensured all copy was accessible and provided alternatives to traditional dance to meet the diverse abilities and needs of users.
